Project Overview
The AGRHYMET Regional Centre was in need of an eLearning platform to improve the training mechanism of the ECOAGRIS project through distance learning programs.
The objectives of this activity contributed to strengthening the capacities of West African stakeholders by implementing an eLearning platform on modules related to Cadre Harmonisé, the Household Economy, Nutrition, Agricultural Statistics, and the ECOAGRIS Information platform.
This activity contributed to ECOAGRIS capacity-building strategy and enabled the experts to have the necessary tools/information/knowledge for the implementation of their day-to-day activities.
I carried out the following activities for this project:
- Setting up a virtual learning environment for supporting distance learning programs for AGRHYMET Regional Centre in West Africa.
- Consulting on the implementation and roll-out of distance learning programs.
- Training a team of experts from AGRHYMET Regional Centre on the development, implementation and monitoring of distance education programs.
- Capacity building for the IT personnel on system administration, maintenance and user support.
